Primary

The best thing about little kids is the stuff they say.

  • Two weeks ago in Primary (Sam's first time there) they finished singing a song, and right away Sam said loud enough for everyone to hear, "Good job Uncle Eric!"
  • Just after we sat down in Sacrament meeting this morning Sam asked, "Is this Jesus's church?"
  • Today in Primary the singing time leader showed them a poster that had a line of dashes on it. She asked if anyone knew what it was and Sam called out, "Train tracks!" It wasn't.
  • In class they were learning the First Article of Faith, and Sam insisted that the ending wasn't "the Holy Ghost," but the "Ghost Engine." (If it's not obvious by now, the ghost engine comes from an episode of Thomas)
We miss Mike. Only two more days and a bit.

I love little kids and their honesty. I cannot wait until Claire really starts talking.

Hahaha! Becky, so funny! It is kind of like when Sam used to meow instead of say the number three. Anyway, someone must have corrected Samo on the first Article of Faith, because while I was tending him, I suggested that we learn it. When he heard this, he quoted it verbatim, only he was pretty dejected about the whole thing. Sam informed me that he did not like the Articles of Faith... and now I know why!
