The other day Eric was making french toast and Sam wanted some. Eric told him to ask me first, so Sam approached me and said, "Can I have some...waffle bread?"

Sam and I were reading a book that had some ocean animals in it. I pointed to the shark (with teeth showing) and asked him what it was. He thought for a second, smiled, and said, "A scary dolphin!"

One of Sam's favorite toys is his ambliance (ambulance).
